- As a hotel employee, I was interested in what our colleagues have to offer and how they attract customers, as well as how to ensure all of our guests have a comfortable stay in the hotel. At the same time, I told local and foreign tour agency reps about our hotel and the capabilities we can offer. I had multiple interesting meetings, quite promising in terms of cooperation.
The exhibition has come up to my expectations; I obtained plenty of valuable information (although I wanted even more). First, it concerns companies interested in sending their tourists to Azerbaijan. My attention was also drawn to medical tourism, health resorts, and cruise companies. I expect European companies to be more active next year.
Not only did I come to the event as a professional, but I also wanted to scout potential destinations as a tourist. The summer vacation season is near, and we are already looking for places to go. I did find a few places of interest; notable, it has always been my dream to visit Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and some European countries. While the latter were not widely represented at the exhibition, I have already understood how to plan a travel to the former.
